O is for O’Fallon Pumpkin Beer

O’Fallon Brewery is a small manufacturing brewery located in St. Charles County, just north and west of St. Louis, Missouri. This small brewery was founded in January, 2000 by Fran and Tony Caradonna, and just like a good Pumpkin Ale should, theirs smells like pumpkin pie. It may only be September, but Halloween will be here before you know it. I’m already seeing candy corn in the stores. ABV = 5.5%

Ichabod Pumpkin Ale, New Holland Brewing

It’s that time of year when pumpkin ales make an appearance. New Holland’s Ichabod Pumpkin Ale is one of the best, which should be no surprise since it’s made with real pumpkin, cinnamon, and nutmeg. While it’s not quite a pie in a glass it will get you in the mood for some haunted tales. Just don’t lose your head over it.
