Lagunitas PILS is a Czech style pilsner, which might be considered redundant since pilsners are named after the Czech city of Pilsen. While the style was invented there now they’re brewed all over the world, so when a beer is a “Czech-style”, it generally means it’s lighter, clear, and golden in color. A good example is Pilsner Urquell and, of course, Lagunitas.
